MDW Kanawisimowin Pendant
Kanawisimowin is a Cree word to say, “something that offers protection” such as the bear claw. In Cree culture the Maskwa/Bear is the spirit keeper of the East and represents bravery and courage, when speaking of the 7 sacred teachings.
This charm was hand carved in wax and cast in sterling silver using the lost wax casting method. The claw comes on a complimentary 16″ or 18″ sterling silver bead chain.
